Job summary

Evri is seeking a Class 1 Driver for Thames Valley site on a permanent, 45-hour week with a 15:00–01:00 shift. You will operate a Volvo lorry from a modern fleet, completing trunking runs to regional hubs while maintaining safety and timeliness.

Expect occasional loading/unloading, pallet handling, and scanning consignments. Daily vehicle checks and Defect Reports are part of the role; enjoy a supportive team and a 28-day annual leave entitlements.

Qualifications

• Class 1 driving licence is required.
• DCPC training hours completed or in progress.
• Excellent knowledge of Road Transport Laws and safe driving practices.

Responsibilities

• Drive a lorry from our Volvo fleet, ensuring on-time delivery to regional hubs.
• Occasionally load/unload cargo and use pallet trucks as needed.
• Scan consignments and manage driver duties with attention to safety and compliance.
• Inspect vehicle and trailer daily and file a Defect Report if necessary.
• Follow 9-hour shift patterns during the Mon-Fri schedule and plan routes with minimal supervision.
