Job summary

Pertemps Bond is seeking an experienced Laser Operator to join a busy metal sheet fabrication environment in Nuneaton, working a night shift from 9:00pm to 7:30am Monday to Thursday. Immediate start available with a temp-to-perm path and competitive hourly pay.

You will load/unload sheet metal and materials, set up and operate laser cutting machinery, perform quality checks on finished components, and maintain a clean, safe working environment while following health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating laser cutting machinery.
• Experience within metal sheet fabrication or a similar manufacturing environment.
• Good attention to detail and a strong focus on quality.
• Ability to work independently during night shifts.
• A reliable and hardworking attitude.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and the ability to carry out routine machine maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Operating laser cutting machinery within a metal sheet fabrication environment.
• Loading and unloading sheet metal and materials from the machines.
• Setting and operating machinery safely and efficiently.
• Carrying out quality checks on finished components.
• Ensuring products meet required specifications and quality standards.
• Performing basic maintenance and routine checks on the machinery.
• Reporting any faults or issues with the equipment.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Following all health & safety and production procedures.
