Job summary

Your Recruiters Limited are recruiting a CNC Laser Setter/Operator for a family-run engineering business in Leicester. Twilight shift, Monday to Thursday 3:15pm–1:15am, four day week with every Friday, Saturday and Sunday off. You’ll work with TRUMPF laser machinery; some programming not required as programmes are prepared.

Reading engineering drawings and understanding sheet metal manufacturing are essential. Hourly pay £16.70–£17.70, with £1.70 twilight allowance.

Qualifications

• Experience setting and operating CNC Laser machinery.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Good understanding of sheet metal manufacturing.
• Confidence checking cutting quality and making adjustments.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC Laser equipment to meet production specs.
• Inspect cut parts and adjust settings to maintain quality.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings for accurate fabrication.

We're recruiting a CNC Laser Setter / Operator for a family-run engineering business employing around 100 people in Leicester.

What do you need?

You'll be working with TRUMPF laser machinery, but experience with other manufacturers is accepted. Programmes are generally prepared, so you won't need to programme everything from scratch.
