Job summary

Pertemps Bond is recruiting a Metal Operative for our Alcester, Warwickshire site (B49). This late shift role involves fabricating sheet metal, using air tools and spot-welding, with a 4.30pm start and 2.30am finish (Thu 1.30am).

You will set up machines and tooling, follow job cards and drawings, and perform in-process inspections to ensure first-time quality as part of a collaborative manufacturing team.

Qualifications

• Experience in engineering/manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail with problem-solving skills.
• Positive, reliable and a strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Fabrication and sheet metal work using air tools, hand tools, spot-welding.
• Setting up machines & tooling.
• Working to job cards, drawings and inspection plans.
• Carrying out in-process inspections and ensuring work is right first time.
