Job summary

Pilgrim's Europe is seeking a Hygiene Supervisor to lead the hygiene team in a UK food manufacturing facility. You will drive high standards of hygiene, food safety and health & safety while supporting continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include coaching, coordinating daily cleaning, supporting audits and customer visits, and ensuring accurate records. Strong leadership, IT literacy and knowledge of HACCP/BRC are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold Food Safety Level 3 certification.
• Train the Trainer qualification.

The Hygiene Supervisor is responsible for leading the hygiene team to ensure the factory is clean, safe and ready for production. The role supports high standards of hygiene, food safety and health & safety while driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Hygiene management experience within food manufacturing.
• Knowledge of BRC, HACCP and food safety standards.
• Understanding of cleaning chemicals and hygiene systems.
• Strong Health & Safety knowledge.
• Experience supporting audits and compliance activities.
• Good leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• IT literate.
