Job summary

AIT Home Delivery UK Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking experienced Class 1 (CE) HGV Drivers to join our Logistics team for regular night trunking between depots and distribution centres. You will operate safely, complete transport records, perform routine vehicle inspections, and help keep stock moving across our network.

Candidates must hold a valid Class 1 (CE) licence with at least 12 months CE driving experience, a Driver CPC, a Digital Tachograph Card, and no more than 6 penalty

Qualifications

• At least 12 months CE driving experience.
• Valid Class 1 (CE) HGV Licence and Driver CPC.
• Digital Tachograph Card held.
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence.
• Knowledge of Drivers' Hours Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Depot-to-depot trunking between depots and distribution centres.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and complete transport records.
• Maintain safe working practices and vehicle condition.
• Support smooth running of the transport function.
• Adhere to transport legislation and insurance requirements.
