Job summary

Grainger & Worrall is hiring Foundry Operatives in the United Kingdom for permanent and fixed-term roles. 30 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, night shift 22:00–06:00, with a starting salary of £15.89–£16.58 per hour, inclusive of shift allowance. No experience needed, with full training provided.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; interested in manufacturing and willing to learn.
• If you have Foundry experience, you could be offered a more senior role.
• Advantageous to have FLT (Forklift), Overhead Crane or First Aid training.

Responsibilities

• Core Blasting – Clean and prepare castings to meet quality standards.
• Moulding – Prepare tooling and create moulds for casting production.
• Assembly – Assemble cores and components accurately and efficiently.
• Dressing – Finish castings to the required specifications.
• Knockout – Remove castings safely from moulds post-production.
• FLT Operator – Move materials and products safely around site.
• Robot Operator – Operate and monitor robotic equipment within the production process.
