Job summary

People Solutions is recruiting for experienced Foundry Operatives in Stourbridge. The role covers CNC work, grinding and linishing, furnace duties, and general foundry tasks in a busy workshop.

Shifts run Monday to Friday with rotating times (06:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:00). Pay ranges from £12.77 to £14.77 per hour, with weekly pay and a permanent role after 12 weeks, plus PPE and on-site facilities.

Qualifications

• Previous foundry, manufacturing, or workshop experience.
• Ability to operate machinery and hand tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable working in a manual, workshop-based role.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and operating machinery to ensure optimum efficiency.
• Using a variety of hand tools and workshop equipment.
• Performing checks against instructions to ensure product quality and conformity.
• Carrying out regular quality inspections and correcting issues immediately.
• Ensuring adequate stock levels of raw materials to maintain productivity.
• Supporting grinding, linishing, CNC, and furnace operations where required.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment at all times.
