Job summary

UNILIN is seeking a Loading Operative for night shifts (Mon–Fri, 21:45–06:15). You will load and unload trailers, operate a forklift, and work closely with shift coordinators to keep despatch on track. A health and safety mindset, ability to follow instructions, and a customer-focused attitude are essential.

Role requires initiative, teamwork, and a willingness to cover shifts when needed. A driving licence for the shunt unit is beneficial. Training and fringe benefits offered.

Responsibilities

• Load trucks with haulier drivers and ensure correct product is loaded.
• Record data accurately and keep systems up to date.
• Label, wrap and pack products to customer requirements.
• Unloading trailers, handling pallets and general deliveries.
• Shunt trailers and drive forklift as required in designated areas.
• Maintain good housekeeping and health & safety compliance.
• Assist with month-end stock checks when needed.
• Respond to supervisor with shortages or issues promptly.
