Job summary

Had Fab in Scotland is seeking a skilled Night Shift Fabricator Welder to join our precision team. You will read detailed drawings, fabricate and weld structural steel components, and perform MIG welding to a high standard on the night shift.

This role requires hands-on fabrication, safe operation of machinery, and a strong eye for quality. You will work with a tight-knit night shift crew to meet production targets and support the UK’s energy transition.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Fabricator Welder.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings and weld plans.
• Fabricate and weld structural steel components to tight tolerances.
• Carry out MIG welding to a high standard.
• Perform cutting, burning, grinding, and finishing operations.
• Operate fabrication machinery, overhead cranes, and hand tools safely.
• Inspect your own work to ensure it meets quality and safety standards.
• Work closely with the night shift team to meet production targets.
