Job summary

Questech Recruitment Ltd seeks an experienced Welder/Fabricator for night shifts in the South Elmsall area, West Yorkshire. You will fabricate and assemble structural components using MIG/TIG/MMA welding, read drawings, and operate metalworking tools.

The role requires hands-on experience, welding certifications, and the ability to work nights with 40 hours per week and overtime at 1.5x after 40 hours. Salary is £15–£18 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in custom welding and fabrication with welding certifications.
• Ability to read engineering and fabrication drawings.
• Hands-on experience with fabrication tools and machinery (saws, grinders, drills, press brakes).

Responsibilities

• Fabricate structural and architectural components to specifications.
• Assemble mechanical systems including bearings, motors, gearboxes and pulleys.
• Operate cutting, rolling and bending equipment to form components.
