Job summary

MTrec Ltd Technical is seeking a Fabricator for a permanent day-shift role within a heavy engineering environment in the UK. The position involves fabricating components to engineering drawings and maintaining high quality throughout the process.

Candidates should have MIG welding experience, be able to read drawings, operate overhead cranes, and maintain good housekeeping while meeting deadlines. This is a long-term opportunity with growth potential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Fabricator, ideally time served.
• Experience of manufacturing medium to heavy engineered steel products using MIG processes to a high-quality standard.
• Excellent fabrication skills with experience in fabricating small and medium sized assemblies, using basic fabrication skills which include forming and bending.
• Ability to use overhead cranes.
• Ability to use oxyacetylene burn.
• Ability to use forming equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Good housekeeping.
• Proven ability to work accurately and with attention to detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities
