Jark PLC in the Rotherham area is seeking time-served welders and platers for a permanent night shift role with overtime available. You will fabricate structural steel items, weld using MIG/MAG and flux core, and work to coded standards from technical drawings.

The ideal candidate has shop-floor experience in heavy steel environments, can read drawings, and is confident using coded welding procedures. Offers permanent contract, night shifts, and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Time-served or apprentice-trained with shop-floor experience in structural or heavy steel environments.
• Experience welding to coded standards.
• Confident reading technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Fabricating structural steel items of varying grades and thicknesses.
• Welding in MIG/MAG and flux core.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
