Job summary

The Collective Network is seeking a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer in Cambridgeshire to join a top-tier engineering team. You will focus on minimising downtime, logging breakdowns, and carrying out reactive and preventive maintenance on conveyors, weighing machines, heat sealing, and packaging equipment.

You will need a Level 3 Electrical or Mechanical qualification, strong electrical and mechanical experience, and a proven ability to fault find, test, and replace equipment.

Qualifications

• Relevant engineering qualification - Level 3 Electrical or Mechanical.
• Strong mechanical and electrical engineering experience.
• Ability to fault find, test, and replace equipment.
• Experience in food or manufacturing industries.

Responsibilities

• Minimising machinery downtime.
• Logging breakdowns and tracking stock usage.
• Completing reactive breakdowns and planned preventative maintenance.
• Working on conveyors, weighing machines, heat sealing, and packaging equipment.
• Identifying areas for continuous improvement.
• Optimising manufacturing functions.
