Job summary

Michelmersh Brick Holdings Plc is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support plant-wide electrical and mechanical maintenance, aiming to minimise downtime and uphold safety, quality, and productivity across all factory areas.

The role includes working to PPM systems, following isolation procedures, and developing plant knowledge through training courses, with a 12‑hour night shift (18:30–06:30).

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in electrics/mechanical skills (multi skilled electrician).
• Experience with automation and three phase systems.
• NVQ electrical/mechanical engineering qualification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide plant-wide maintenance service for electrical and mechanical systems.
• Follow isolation and lock-off procedures at all times.
• Work to preventive maintenance (PPM) systems.
• Develop knowledge of the plant through training courses.
• Complete daily shift instructions and maintain report books.
• Work during shutdown periods as required.
• Night shift pattern: Monday–Thursday, 18:30–06:30.
