Job summary

CV Technical Limited in Redditch is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Supervisor for permanent night shifts to lead the engineering team while hands-on with maintenance, fault finding and breakdown support across the site.

The role focuses on supervising nights, carrying out mechanical and electrical maintenance, resolving faults, and driving improved uptime with safe, high-standard practices and thorough shift handovers.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing environment.
• Experience supervising, leading or mentoring engineers.
• Recognised engineering qualification or apprenticeship.
• Good knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, motors and drives.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and supporting the maintenance team on nights.
• Carrying out mechanical and electrical maintenance.
• Responding to breakdowns and supporting fault finding.
• Ensuring planned preventive maintenance (PPM) is completed.
• Allocating work and prioritising breakdowns.
• Diagnosing faults across production machinery.
• Ensuring engineering work is carried out safely and to a high standard.
• Completing shift handovers and maintenance records.
