Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd is seeking a Nights Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer in Leighton Buzzard to maintain production machinery and plant equipment. You will respond to breakdowns, perform PPM tasks and drive continuous improvement to maximise uptime.

The role requires electrical fault-finding, mechanical fitting and experience with industrial equipment in a food-manufacturing environment, with a 4 on, 3 off night shift pattern and excellent career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Electrical fault-finding and mechanical fitting experience.
• Experience with industrial machinery or production equipment.
• BTEC/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in engineering.
• Understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Experience with planned maintenance and breakdown repairs.
• Ability to identify faults and root causes.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical and mechanical maintenance across production machinery.
• Respond to breakdowns and carry out fault-finding and repairs.
• Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and improvements.
• Work to minimise downtime and improve equipment reliability.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow hygiene standards.
