Job summary

Hunter Selection | B Corp™ in Ely, Cambridgeshire is seeking a Night Shift Engineer to provide electrical and mechanical support for production equipment on a Sunday-Thursday 10pm-6am schedule. The role offers a salary of £47,000 plus overtime and a benefits package including pension, life assurance, holidays and a bonus scheme.

The ideal candidate is electrically biased, time-served, with FMCG/packaging experience and 17th/18th Edition skills.

Qualifications

Must be an electrically biased engineer.
Apprenticeship or time-served with electrical & mechanical qualifications.
Experience in FMCG or packaging manufacturing.
17th/18th Edition Electrical
Electrical testing & inspection experience
Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable as sole engineer on nights
Strong electrical & mechanical fault finding & problem solving
PLC - electrical fault finding
Experience carrying out CI projects and new machine installations

Responsibilities

Provide electrical & mechanical support & repairs for all production equipment & site services
Fixing production machinery, industrial processing equipment, conveyors, packaging machinery, automation & controls, PLCs, site services & facilities
Supporting with project work - new machine & production line installs
PPM's, electrical & mechanical fault finding, problem solving, machine upgrades
