Job summary

Pertemps Milton Keynes is currently recruiting for a Dispatch Clerk to join our busy transport and logistics operation supporting a major automotive contract. This role requires meticulous organisation and the ability to manage dispatch and transport administration in a fast-paced environment.

The night shift runs 18:30–03:00 Monday to Friday, with a flexible start potential in the New Year. Immediate start available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport, logistics, dispatch or fleet administration.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and transport management systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating daily dispatch activities to ensure timely vehicle movements.
• Processing transport and delivery documentation accurately.
• Liaising with drivers, warehouse staff and management teams.
• Monitoring vehicle departures and arrivals.
• Updating internal systems and maintaining accurate records.
• Investigating and resolving any dispatch-related issues.
• Ensuring paperwork is completed correctly and per procedures.
• Supporting the wider transport operation as required
