Redhook Global Talent is partnering with a well-established food business to recruit an Operations Manager (Depot/Warehousing) for its South London depot. This night-shift role runs from around 3am to midday, owning the depot, from people management to stock, processes and the critical morning dispatch window.

Qualifications

• Experience in a depot/warehouse/operations role within FMCG/logistics.
• Proven ability to manage multi-drop dispatch with tight morning windows.
• Strong people leadership with hands-on, quick decision-making under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead the night shift operation at the depot from ~3am to midday.
• Oversee loading and dispatch of multi-drop fleet; vans out ~5am–7am.
• Ensure stock accuracy, rotation and cold chain across chilled/frozen goods.
• Mentor and develop warehouse and driver teams on shift.
• Drive continuous improvement in picking, load planning and routes.
• Collaborate with sales, transport and technical teams to deliver orders on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, compliant operation per food safety and H&S standards.
