Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd in Guildford is seeking a Customer Assistant on nights to help run the store smoothly. You’ll work 37 hours per week on a part-time fixed-term assignment, with shifts planned in advance and a weekly schedule across Sunday to Saturday.

Your duties include stocking shelves, keeping workspaces tidy, moving stock from warehouse to shopfloor, and serving customers at checkouts once trained. You’ll need right to work in the UK and be at least 18.

Qualifications

• You must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK.
• The minimum application age for this role is 18 due to the working hours and items handled.

Responsibilities

• Getting the store ready for the day ahead by filling shelves and maintaining a steady night-time pace.
• Keeping your workspace tidy and ensuring aisles are presentable for customers.
• Collecting and moving stock from the warehouse to the shopfloor, including heavy equipment.
• Working across different parts of the store, including chilled and frozen areas.
• Using equipment, handsets and digital systems to complete tasks safely and accurately.
• Helping in other areas when needed, including online order pickups or checkout service after training.
