Job summary

Sainsbury's in Northwich is seeking a Customer Assistant on nights to help keep the store running smoothly. You’ll greet customers with energy, stock shelves, move stock safely from warehouse to shopfloor, and work across departments including chilled and frozen areas.

Responsibilities

Getting the store ready for the day ahead by stocking shelves and maintaining a steady night work pace.
Keeping workspaces tidy and aisles presentable for customers the next day.
Moving stock safely from warehouse to shopfloor, including heavy items and containers.
Working across different parts of the store, including chilled and frozen areas.
Using equipment and digital systems to complete tasks accurately and safely.
Assisting in other areas when needed, such as online order picking or serving customers at checkouts after training.
