Job summary

Sainsbury’s Group is seeking a Customer Assistant for night shifts in Greater London. You will help prepare the store for opening by stocking shelves, maintain tidy aisles and assist in various store areas, including chilled and frozen sections.

You’ll move stock from the warehouse to the shopfloor, operate equipment safely and support customers as needed. The role emphasizes energy, resilience, teamwork, and a willingness to learn new digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Fill shelves and get the store ready for opening with a steady night-time pace.
• Keep workspace tidy and ensure aisles are clean for customers.
• Move stock from warehouse to shopfloor, including heavy loads.
• Work across store areas including chill and frozen, using equipment safely.
• Assist at checkouts or with online orders when trained.
• Provide friendly, welcoming service and support colleagues.
