Job summary

Multimatic is seeking an experienced CNC Setter/Operator (Turning) to join our Night Shift team. You will set up and operate CNC turning centres, select tooling, and prepare workholding to produce components to engineering drawings and customer specifications.

You will perform first-off and in-process inspections with precision measuring equipment, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with production and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement and maintain high safety standards.

Qualifications

• Setting and operating CNC turning centres in a fast-paced production environment.
• Selecting tooling, setting offsets, preparing work holding, and safely proving out new and existing jobs.
• Producing components to engineering drawings and customer specifications.
• Performing first-off and in-process inspections using precision measuring equipment.
• Troubleshooting machining issues, responding to machine alarms, and maintaining production output.
• Working closely with the production and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
