Job summary

Andrews Recruitment Group Limited is seeking a Press Brake Operator for a permanent night-shift role in Harlow, Essex. You will set and operate CNC press brake machinery, produce sheet-metal components to drawing specifications, and complete machine setup and tooling changes.

You will read engineering drawings, use measuring equipment accurately, select tooling, maintain quality records, and work with supervisors to uphold safety standards and housekeeping on nights.

Qualifications

• Experience operating press brake machinery
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Strong measuring/inspection skills required
• Experience setting machinery and selecting tooling
• Good understanding of manufacturing health & safety practices
• Availability to work permanent night shifts

Responsibilities

• Setting and operating CNC press brake machinery to produce sheet-metal components
• Producing parts to drawings and specifications
• Completing machine set-up and tooling changes
• Selecting appropriate tooling for production requirements
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Using measuring/inspection equipment accurately
• Identifying production, tooling or quality issues
• Maintaining accurate production records
• Collaborating with supervisors and other manufacturing team members
• Maintaining high housekeeping and safety standards
