Beth Israel Lahey Health is hiring for a patient care support role. The position involves direct patient observation under the Nurse Manager and RN supervision, patient rounding on instruction, and ensuring safety and cleanliness on the unit.

You will respond to call lights, restock supplies, transport patients, and document care appropriately while respecting cultural needs and language support when needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, or near completion of Health Sciences program.
• BLS certification within 3 months of hire.
• De-escalation training completed during orientation.

Responsabilités

• Direct observation of patient under supervision.
• Participate in patient rounding as directed by RN.
• Ensure environmental safety for patients.
• Answer call lights and escalate issues to RN.
• Restock supplies and transport patients as needed.
• Complete patient care documentation.
• Communicate changes in patient behavior to RN.

Formation

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
