Job summary

Boughey Distribution, part of the NWF Group, is seeking drivers for night shifts at the Lymedale site on a permanent 5 on 3 off rota. You will perform vehicle checks, ensure safe, timely deliveries across Cheshire and nearby areas, and assist with loading/yard duties as needed.

Applicants must hold a CPC and tachograph card, have Class 1 driving experience, and demonstrate excellent communication to liaise with customers and the Boughey team on site.

Qualifications

• Current CPC and tachograph card with a good understanding of driver hours regulations.
• Previous experience driving Class 1 vehicles is essential.
• Excellent communication skills to handle customer queries at delivery points and to collaborate with on-site Boughey team.

Responsibilities

• Complete vehicle checks at the start and end of each shift, ensuring compliance with HGV driving rules.
• Ensure safe and prompt delivery of goods across Cheshire and surrounding areas.
• Manoeuvring trucks into loading/unloading positions, securing loads, and assisting with yard handball or pump truck deliveries when required.
