Job summary

Booker Group in Haydock is seeking a HGV driver (Class 1) to handle single drop deliveries to our cash and carry stores and retail partners. The role involves evening/night shifts starting around 17:30–19:30, with Sundays and Fridays included in the pattern.

You will complete delivery paperwork and maintain vehicle condition throughout the shift. Applicants should hold a Class 1 licence with CPC qualification and deliver excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Holder of a Class 1 licence and CPC qualification.
• Ability to deliver excellent customer service.
• Experience with temperature controlled food deliveries preferred, but not essential.
• Flexible to varying routes and short-notice changes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver stock to Booker cash and carry stores and retail partner stores.
• Complete all delivery paperwork after each drop.
• Ensure vehicle is in good condition at start and end of shift.
• Work autonomously and as part of the transport team.
