Job summary

Pure Staff Ltd in Newport is recruiting an experienced HGV Class 1 Night Driver for ongoing night shifts. You will complete multi-drop deliveries and collections of palletised goods, with typical shifts starting between 17:00 and 19:00 and lasting 10–12 hours.

There are 3–12 drops per shift and a customer-facing role requiring a professional attitude. Benefits include 100% in-house PAYE, weekly pay, and holiday pay accrual.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence and Driver CPC are mandatory.
• Digital Tachograph Card is required.
• Minimum 6 months Class 2 driving experience.
• No more than 6 penalty points; no TT/TS/MS/DR/DD endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Complete multi-drop deliveries and collections of palletised goods.
• Carry out 3–12 deliveries or collections per shift.
• Use a pump truck where required.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.
