Job summary

Boughey Distribution is expanding its driver population at the Lymedale site for night shifts on a permanent contract. The role offers a 5 on, 3 off pattern with flexible start times between 4pm and 10pm, and a £20 per hour rate.

Weekly pay, generous holidays, and progression opportunities across the wider group are included. You will perform vehicle checks, ensure safe deliveries across Cheshire, and assist with yard duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Current CPC and tachograph card with a good understanding of driver hours regulations.
• Previous experience driving Class 1 vehicles is essential.
• Excellent communication skills to handle customer queries and work with the on-site Boughey team.

Responsibilities

• Complete vehicle checks at the start and end of each shift and adhere to HGV driving rules.
• Ensure safe and prompt delivery of goods across Cheshire and surrounding areas.
• Manoeuvre trucks into loading/unloading positions and assist with yard duties.
