Job summary

Alliance Healthcare in Leeds is seeking an experienced Class 1 HGV Driver for a full-time night-distribution role. You will perform multi-drop deliveries to customer sites, carry out safety checks and ensure compliance with hours rules and GDP requirements.

The role includes a Monday–Friday pattern with rotating Saturday shifts, a salary of £42,382.08 plus night premium, and a permanent, full-time contract in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• A valid LGV licence appropriate for the vehicle being driven.
• Previous multi-drop driving experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills.
• Knowledge of route planning and transport compliance.
• Professional and reliable approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Completing multi-drop deliveries to customer sites.
• Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks.
• Ensuring compliance with driving hours and tachograph regulations.
• Collecting customer returns when required.
• Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and security.
• Accurately completing delivery documentation.
• Building strong relationships with customers through outstanding service.
• Following all health, safety and GDP requirements.
