Job summary

Boughey Distribution, part of NWF Group, is recruiting drivers for Crewe on day shift (5 on 3 off) with flexible start times between 4am and 10am. We offer weekly pay of £18.50 per hour, 29 days holidays, funded training, and a range of employee benefits.

You will complete vehicle checks, ensure safe deliveries across Cheshire and surrounding areas, and assist in yard operations with handball or pump truck deliveries where required.

Qualifications

• Current CPC and tachograph card with a good understanding of driver hours regulations
• Previous experience driving Class 1 vehicles is essential
• Excellent communication skills to handle customer queries at delivery and collaborate with the Boughey team on site

Responsibilities

• Complete vehicle checks at the start and end of each shift – complying with all HGV driving rules
• Ensure safe and prompt delivery of goods across Cheshire and surrounding areas
• Maneouvering trucks into loading and unloading positions, securing loads, assisting in yard with handball or pump truck deliveries
