Job summary

Boughey Distribution is recruiting drivers for the Wardle site on night shifts (4pm–10pm, 5 on/3 off). The role requires current CPC/tachograph, Class 1 experience, and strong customer-service skills. Benefits include enhanced holiday entitlement, pension, and training options.

Qualifications

• Current CPC and tachograph card with a good understanding of driver hours regulations.
• Previous experience driving Class 1 vehicles is essential.
• Excellent communication skills to handle customer queries at delivery and collaborate with Boughey on site.

Responsibilities

• Complete vehicle checks at the start and end of each shift – complying with all HGV driving rules to avoid vehicle damage.
• Ensure safe and prompt delivery of goods across Cheshire and surrounding areas.
• Manoeuvring trucks into loading/unloading positions, ensuring loads are secured, and providing yard support with handball or pump truck deliveries.
