Job summary

Piran Composites in Newquay, Cornwall, is seeking a composite operative for night shift (22:00–06:00, Monday to Friday). Training is provided and prior experience in engineering/manufacturing is helpful.

You will work hands-on with carbon fibre materials and support various production tasks within a team environment. The role emphasizes learning, accuracy, and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining a safe, positive workplace.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills are essential.
• Ability to learn quickly and apply new methods.
• Be a team player with good time keeping and accuracy.
• Experience with computers and MS Office is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Cutting and handling carbon fibre materials and tools.
• Laying up materials into mould tools and releasing components.
• Maintaining safety and clean working areas; completing paperwork.
