Piran Composites is seeking a composite operative to perform a variety of tasks in the production environment. Training will be provided for each task; hands-on ability and a background in engineering/manufacturing are beneficial.
Tasks include cutting, laying up, mould release, cleaning, paperwork, and supporting other production activities. The role offers 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, with opportunities to grow within the company and work across early or late shifts.
Piran Composites are an advanced carbon fibre manufacturing company producing high specification components and structures for aerospace and defence OEMs. We are seeking a composite operative to undertake a variety of tasks within the production environment. Training will be provided for each task you will be expected to perform, however, ability to be able to work “hands on” with a background in engineering/manufacturing would be beneficial. To succeed in this role you will require good communication skills, ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge in correct methods, be a team player, good time keeping and be able to work under pressure but also in a relaxed environment. Experience and skill operating computers and MS office a plus. This is a good opportunity for someone to come in and integrate themselves into the team environment.
