Job summary

Tatton Recruitment is seeking a Stress Engineer on nights for a world-leading aircraft manufacturer’s Engineering Team in Broughton, UK. You will join an established group of Structural Engineers supporting wing programs throughout production, working on live plant operations in a 24/7 environment.

Key responsibilities include static analysis of metallic and composite structures, assessing F&DT and non-conformances, and ensuring airworthiness and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience with static structural analysis of metallic and composite aircraft structures.
• Proven ability to deliver engineering solutions in a fast-paced plant environment.
• Experience with F&DT, non-conformances, and concessions in aerospace.

Responsibilities

• Perform static structural analysis on metallic and advanced composite structures.
• Analyze and validate components for Static Strength and F&DT.
• Calculate strength margins and reserve factors using sizing methods.
• Provide structural stress analyses to support non-conformance, repair, and acceptance activities.
• Ensure airworthiness, safety, and regulatory compliance in all evaluations.
