Job summary

Line Up Aviation is seeking a T400 Stress Engineer for a 6-month contract based at the Broughton Wing Plant. You will join the Plant Engineering Team as a night-shift stress analyst, supporting static structural analysis on composite and metallic structures.

The role requires experience with T400 concessions and aircraft stress work; preferred candidates will have broader aviation knowledge. Pay is £46-£52 per hour via Umbrella, with a night shift pattern from Monday to Thursday.

Qualifications

• Experience performing static structural analysis on aircraft components.
• Knowledge of T400 concessions and approval processes.
• Aviation or military aircraft experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform static structural analysis on both composite and metallic structures.
• Analyze and validate structures for static strength, FDT, and margins.
• Provide stress analyses for repair/acceptance of metallic and composite/hybrid structures.
• Ensure airworthiness requirements for aircraft structures.

Job description

On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit a T400 Stress Engineer on an initial 6 -month contract. You will be operating as a Stress Engineer within the Broughton Wing Plant Engineering Team working alongside existing stress analysts.

Role: T400 Stress Engineer ( Night Shift)

Pay: £46 - £52 per hour Via Umbrella + Shift allowance

Location: Broughton

Contract: Monday to Thursday 8:45pm - 6:00am, 6 -month contract

IR35 Status: Inside

Security Clearance: BPSS

Responsibilities

• Perform static structural analysis on both composite and metallic structures.


• Analyse and validate Metallic, Composites / Hybrids structures at component level for Static strength, F&DT and produce relevant strength margins or reserve factors according to validated and applicable methods & sizing processes.


• Ability to provide stress analyses for the repair/acceptance of metallic, composites/hybrids structures.


• Ensure airworthiness requirements for aircraft structures.

Essential Skills

• Ideally held T400 Concessions Approval previously


• Experience with other aircrafts, military aircraft or product knowledge.

Desirable Skills

• Open to candidates who don't hold an approval but have relevant stress and/or concessions experience.
