Job summary

Safran Nacelles, in partnership with Morson Group, is seeking a Nightshift Hand Tool Operator in Burnley to perform hand routing and finishing on aerospace components. The role requires working nights, following precise work instructions, and contributing to right-first-time manufacturing.

The position offers training with a 12-month duration and potential for temp-to-perm progression, working with carbon fibre, aluminium, steel and titanium materials.

Qualifications

• Experience with hand routing, trimming, drilling, and finishing on aerospace components.
• Willingness to work night shift and adapt to shift patterns.
• Reliable and punctual with good team interaction.
• Commitment to quality and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform hand routing, trimming, drilling, sanding, and finishing on composite and metallic components.
• Set up, adjust, and operate machining equipment, tooling, fixtures, and templates.
• Conduct in-process inspections and ensure conformance to drawings and specs.
• Complete production records accurately and follow all safety/quality procedures.
