Job summary

Manpower UK is recruiting reliable and professional 7.5t Drivers for ongoing night shifts in Coventry (CV3 4RP). You will safely operate 7.5-tonne vehicles on planned routes between distribution centres, transporting mail and parcels. The role involves loading/unloading, vehicle checks, and maintaining delivery records.

Applicants must hold a valid 7.5T licence, Driver CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card. Prior multi-drop distribution driving is advantageous, with generous pay and a nationwide

Qualifications

• Valid UK C1 driving licence is required.
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card are required.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no serious driving endorsements.
• 1 year of 7.5t driving experience in a logistics environment is preferred.
• Good knowledge of road safety and route planning is essential.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate 7.5t vehicles on planned routes between distribution centres and delivery locations.
• Transport mail and parcels while meeting delivery schedules.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Load and unload goods and secure cargo.
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
• Work independently while communicating with the operations team.
• Follow all road transport laws, health and safety rules, and company policies.
