Job summary

Manpower (United Kingdom) is recruiting reliable 7.5t Drivers to join one of the UK’s most recognised logistics and distribution organisations. The role involves safely operating 7.5t vehicles, loading/unloading, paperwork and delivering on time, with independent work and strong team communication.

Locations include South Midlands (NN4 9DR) with nights and ongoing temporary work. Competitive hourly pay from £17.02 to £26.99, 21 days’ annual leave, PPE provided, and access to wellbeing resources

Qualifications

• Valid UK C1 driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no serious driving endorsements.
• 1 year previous 7.5t driving experience within a logistics or distribution environment.
• Strong understanding of UK road transport legislation and vehicle safety.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Professional, reliable and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate 7.5t vehicles on planned routes between distribution centres and delivery locations.
• Transport mail, parcels and freight efficiently while meeting delivery schedules.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects in line with company procedures.
• Load and unload vehicles safely while ensuring the security of all goods.
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
• Work independently while maintaining excellent communication with the wider operations team.
• Follow all road transport legislation, health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Multiple drops per shift, depending on route assigned.
