Job summary

Manpower UK is recruiting reliable 7.5t Drivers for Warrington-based night shifts on a temporary, ongoing basis. The role involves safely operating 7.5t vehicles on planned routes to distribution centres and delivery points, performing vehicle checks and maintaining accurate paperwork.

A valid UK C1 licence, Driver CPC and Tachograph card are essential, with up to six points and no serious endorsements. Experience in a similar role is advantageous, and the position offers competitive hourly pay

Qualifications

• Valid UK C1 driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no serious driving endorsements.
• 1 year previous 7.5t driving experience.
• Strong understanding of UK road transport legislation and vehicle safety.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Professional, reliable and customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate 7.5t vehicles on planned routes between distribution centres and delivery locations.
• Transport mail, parcels and freight efficiently while meeting delivery schedules.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects in line with company procedures.
• Load and unload vehicles safely while ensuring the security of all goods.
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
• Work independently while maintaining excellent communication with the wider operations team.
• Follow all road transport legislation, health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Multiple drops per shift, depending on route assigned.
