Bridge Oak Care Homes is seeking a Senior Care Assistant for night shifts at Greenacres, Meltham in West Yorkshire. This permanent full-time role (38.5 hours/week) includes alternate weekends. Salary is £14.35 per hour. Sponsorship is not available.

You will support residents with daily living, train junior staff, and help maintain dignity and comfort. Flexibility for evenings/weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Warmth and approachable demeanor required.

• Passionate about improving care for older people.
• Willing to work some evenings and weekends.
• NVQ level 3 or willingness to pursue.

Responsabilités

• Support residents with daily living and care needs.
• Supervise and train junior staff; assist under senior supervision.
• Assist residents with physical, emotional and spiritual needs while maintaining dignity.
• Monitor mobility and use of aids; support residents with limited mobility.
• Promote continence and assist with dying or progressive illness care.
