Job summary

Bridge Oak Care Homes in Northwich, Cheshire is seeking a Senior Care Assistant for Acorn Meadow. This part-time role (22 hours per week, permanent) requires warmth, reliability and compassion to support residents with daily living, and to assist in training junior staff.

You will contribute to a person-centred approach that promotes dignity, comfort and independence, with some evenings and alternate weekends. NVQ level 3 preferred; sponsorship not available.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar care role.
• NVQ level 3 (or willingness to work towards).

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily living activities to maintain dignity.
• Assist in training and supervising junior staff.
• Monitor residents' well-being and document care plans.
• Respond to nurse calls and communicate with GPs and managers.
• Promote social activities and ensure comfort and safety.
