Job summary

Agincare is recruiting at Edgehill care home for a Night Senior Care Assistant. You’ll provide person-centred care to residents, including bathing, dressing and oral care, while supporting independence and choice.

The role is 30 hours per week, 8pm–8am, with alternate weekends. NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care or working towards, and eligibility to work in the UK are required. Refer a friend and career progression opportunities apply.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK
• NVQ Level 2 - Health and Social care qualification
• NVQ Level 3 - Health and Social Care qualification or be working towards
• Night Senior Care Assistant to work 30 hours per week from 8pm to 8am to include working alternate weekends

Responsibilities

• Person-centred care - You will ensure that residents receive personal care from you and your team including bathing, dressing and oral care within their preferences, and actively promote right to choice and independence
• Review -You will contribute to and carry out care reviews with your residents to ensure their plans reflect their needs.
• Medication - You will administer residents' medication in a safe and supportive and compliant way
• Social Activity - You will lead in and participate in trips out, social engagements and activities within the home.
• Leadership - you may support new starters or existing staff with shadowing and development, and may be called up on to lead the home where more senior managers are not available.
