Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced Security Supervisor to lead a team of Security Officers on site in Poole. You will oversee day-to-day security operations, maintain high standards of safety and customer service, and ensure team performance aligns with client expectations.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, incident response, and reporting skills, with a flexible attitude to shifts including nights and holidays where needed.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising or leading Security Officers.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and make informed decisions during incidents.
• Excellent report writing and incident documentation.
• Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, support and motivate Security Officers to ensure duties are carried out effectively and professionally.
• Act as the first point of escalation for incidents, operational issues and security concerns.
• Conduct regular site patrols, security inspections and risk assessments.
• Investigate incidents and accidents, ensuring actions are taken and documented.
• Maintain a visible, professional security presence and respond to incidents and emergencies.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and management to ensure service delivery standards.
