Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Mobile Response Officer to provide rapid alarm response, site inspections, and mobile patrols across client premises. You will attend activations, conduct checks, lock/unlock procedures, and report incidents with professionalism and discretion.

The role requires a valid SIA licence, DBS clearance, right to work in the UK, a full UK driving licence, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays while staying calm under pressure.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK is required.
• Enhanced DBS and BS7858 clearance are required.
• Valid SIA licence is required.
• Full UK driving licence with a clean record is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently and use initiative.
• Flexible hours including nights, weekends and public holidays are expected.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to alarm activations and conduct site investigations per procedures.
• Perform regular mobile patrols and security checks across locations.
• Complete locking/unlocking procedures to secure client sites.
• Conduct vacant property inspections for insurance compliance.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies, escalating as needed.
• Maintain a visible, professional security presence to deter threats.
• Complete incident reports and patrol records accurately.
• Communicate updates to clients and the Control Room in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and company policies.
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain client relationships.
