OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Security Officer to safeguard a busy client site on a 4-on/4-off night shift. You will provide a professional, welcoming service to employees and visitors while maintaining high standards of security across buildings, access points, and traffic flow.

The role requires SIA licensure, UK right to work and BS7858 vetting, plus prior security experience and strong communication skills. Join a leading facilities management group committed to safety and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Must have the Right to Work in the UK and ability to pass BS7858 vetting.
• Valid SIA Licence
• Previous experience in a security role
• Strong communication and customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Maintain the safety and security of buildings, personnel, and visitors across the site
• Act as a first point of contact, providing a professional, friendly and helpful service
• Monitor fire, security and building management systems, responding appropriately to incidents
• Support a safe working environment by following Health & Safety policies and reporting hazards, damage, or defects
• Control access points, barriers, and support traffic management across the site
• Carry out regular patrols and ensure security procedures are consistently followed
