Job summary

Kingdom Group, at Sanctuary SSL Moorland, is seeking a Security Officer to maintain a safe environment for staff, residents, visitors and property. You will patrol, control access, monitor incidents and document events.

The role requires an SIA licence, strong communication, calmness under pressure and reliable report writing. 38.5 hours per week, nights 21:00–08:00, shift pattern 4 on 4 off, Monday to Sunday. Contributory pension and ongoing development available.

Qualifications

• SIA Security Licence is essential.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Professional, reliable and confident in dealing with a variety of situations.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions.
• Strong attention to detail and good report-writing skills.
• Previous security experience is desirable but not essential.
• Full five-year checkable employment history required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular patrols and monitor the site.
• Control access and egress to the site.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents and complete reports.
• Perform health and safety checks and maintain documentation.
• Provide a professional and visible security presence at all times.
• Assist with emergency procedures and ensure policies are followed.
