Job summary

Kingdom Services Group is recruiting a Security Officer for Cepac in Goole (DN14 8SL). The role is full-time, permanent, and customer-facing, focusing on gatehouse duties, access control, logs, patrols, and incident response. Excellent communication and a valid SIA licence are essential.

The successful candidate will work 48 hours per week on a 18:00-06:00 pattern, Thursday to Sunday, with nights and weekends included. Competitive pay and pension benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Licence essential.
• Own transport not required by the job spec, but having transport may help to get to site.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong observational and reporting skills.
• Good IT skills.
• Full five-year checkable employment history.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Gatehouse security duties.
• Maintaining accurate entry and exit logs for all visitors, contractors and vehicles.
• Monitoring and controlling site access and egress.
• Welcoming visitors, staff and contractors to site.
• Conducting regular site patrols.
• Completing security logs and incident reports.
• Monitoring CCTV systems where required.
• Responding to and assisting with emergency situations.
• Ensuring all site security procedures are followed.
• Reporting any health and safety concerns.
• Maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach at all times.
