Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Security Officer to protect people, property and assets across a busy client site. You will work 12-hour night shifts from 19:00 to 07:00, Thursday to Sunday, delivering professional and approachable security services to employees and visitors.

The role requires a valid SIA Licence, the right to work in the UK, and the ability to pass BS7858 vetting. Prior security experience and strong communication are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Right to Work in the UK is required.
• Able to pass BS7858 vetting.
• Valid SIA Licence is required.
• Previous experience in a security role is preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the safety and security of buildings, personnel, and visitors across the site.
• Act as a first point of contact, providing a professional, friendly and helpful service.
• Monitor fire, security and building management systems, responding appropriately to incidents.
• Support a safe working environment by following Health & Safety policies and reporting hazards, damage, or defects.
• Control access points, barriers, and support traffic management across the site.
• Carry out regular patrols and ensure security procedures are consistently followed.
